Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • sprinkles for decoration optional

Instructions

  1. Stir flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in the mug of your choice.
  2. Whisk in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until the mixture becomes smooth. Remember to scrape the bottom and edges of the mug to avoid clumps.
  3. Place your mug into the microwave and cook for 70 seconds. The cake should be set but still shiny on top. Allow it to rest in the microwave for 1 minute.
