Ingredients

  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, water and vanilla beans (or vanilla extract).
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Gently swirl the mixture until all the sugar dissolves and the syrup thickens slightly.
  4. Remove vanilla bean and transfer the syrup to a clean, sterile glass ar.
  5. Let it cool completely before using.
  6. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
