Vegan Cream Cheese Frosting

This Vegan Cream Cheese Frosting is delicious atop cakes and cupcakes! It's creamy with a hint of maple, and it’s completely vegan!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz vegan cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup vegan margarine
  • 4 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • ¾ cup walnuts or almonds, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your vegan cream cheese icing by creaming together the vegan cream cheese, vegan margarine, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until smooth. (This is best done in a stand mixer.)
  2. Slowly add in one cup of confectioners sugar at a time, whisking until combined. Continue mixing on high until the frosting is nice and fluffy.
