Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal + 2 ½ tbsp water
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 lices of bread

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix all the ingredients, except bread, in a medium bowl. Whisk to combine.
  2. Dip bread in that mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly. Don’t keep the bread slices in the mix any longer or they’ll break.
  3. Cook them from both sides on medium heat in a non-stick skillet with a drizzle of oil.
  4. Enjoy them while still warm. Spread maple syrup and fruit on the top.
