Vietnamese Coffee

Creamy, flavourful, and packed with caffeine, Vietnamese Coffee is a delicious way to start the day off or as a way to cool off later in the day.

Ingredients

  • 200 mL water boiled
  • 1½ tbsp Vietnamese coffee beans ground
  • 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk more or less to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add the sweetened condensed milk to a small cup or mug.
  2. Place the plate over the top of the cup and then the brewing chamber on top.
  3. Add the ground coffee to the chamber.
  4. Add around 1 tablespoon of hot water to the chamber to let the coffee bloom for around 30 seconds.
  5. Place the press over the coffee grounds.
  6. Pour 3 to 4 oz of hot water into the chamber or enough to fill to the top.
  7. Allow the coffee to drip through the filter, around 5 to 7 minutes.
  8. Stir to combine when done and enjoy immediately. Pour over ice if desired.
