Waldorf Salad

Make a fruity Waldorf Salad with apples, pineapple, and pecans. The creamy dressing really makes this a special fruit salad.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon orange juice or pineapple juice
  • 3 apple cubed, unpeeled
  • 8 ounces pineapple tidbits drained
  • 2 tablespoons celery finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons pecans toasted, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons golden raisins
  • lettuce for garnish, leaf

Instructions

  1. Place the cream cheese, sugar, and juice in a small bowl.
  2. Stir until the dressing is creamy and smooth.
  3. Place the apples, pineapple, celery, pecans, and raisins in a large bowl.
  4. Add the cream cheese dressing to the apple mixture and toss gently.
  5. Cover and refrigerate the salad for several hours.
  6. Gently toss the salad again.
  7. Line a salad bowl with lettuce leaves.
  8. Spoon the salad into the lettuce-lined bowl.
  9. Serve immediately.
