Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter melted, unsalted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup walnuts , coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray an 8x8 inch baking pan with baking spray.
  3. Whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gently fold in 3/4 cup of the walnuts, being careful to not over-stir the brownie batter.
  6. Spread batter evenly into greased baking pan. Place the remaining walnuts evenly on the top of the brownie batter
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
