Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup wheat germ toasted
  • ½ cup milk powder dry
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup steel cut oats (or old fashioned)
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup peanut butter natural
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons milk low fat
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla, egg, and milk.
  3. Slowly mix in flour, wheat germ, dry milk, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix well and add oats and raisins.
  4. Chill dough in the fridge, then drop dough by teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
