Whipped Pesto Cream Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Neufchatel cheese (or ⅓ less fat cream cheese) room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons basil pesto
  • ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Place the Neufchatel cheese in a large glass bowl. Using a hand mixer, whip the cheese until it is light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Add the pesto and salt, and whip until combined.
  3. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
