Ingredients
- strawberries
- white candy melts or white chocolate bark If you want bright white color, look for those labeled “super white” or "bright white".
- blue tinted sugar
Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate bark or candy melts in the microwave in short intervals, stirring frequently, taking care to not scorch. Or use a double boiler method on the stovetop.
- Dip the bottom 2/3 of the strawberry into the melted candy melts/white chocolate, leaving a stripe of red strawberry showing at the top.
- Then dip just the tip of the berry into the blue sugar.
- Place dipped strawberries on a rimmed baking sheet that is lined with wax or parchment paper. To speed up the hardening process, place the baking sheet in the fridge for a quicker set. Store refrigerated, uncovered.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Due to the moisture in the berries, I do not recommend making these more than a few hours before serving, as the blue sugar will start to get "weepy".
