This yogurt toast is the latest viral recipe on TikTok made with a mixture of yogurt and egg added on top of bread with any fruit of choice!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon honey plus more for serving
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 lemon zested (optional)
  • 4 bread slices
  • 4 strawberries sliced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, egg, honey, cinnamon, and lemon zest, if using, until well combined and looks like custard.
  2. Spoon the custard into the toast and top with the strawberries. Bake 400°F for 10-15 minutes and enjoy immediately with extra honey drizzled on top.

Notes

  • Storage: Store any leftover toast in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer until warmed and toasted.
