Zaatar Chicken:
- 1.5 lbs chicken breasts cut into strips
- 1/3 cup Zaatar spice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 lemon juiced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Halloumi Cheese:
- 8-10 strips of Halloumi cheese patted dry
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Salad:
- arugula
- strawberries
- sweet bell peppers
- avocado slices
Extra:
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- parsley leaves minced
Notes
- This chicken salad does not really need any dressings. However, a squeeze of lemon juice and a drizzle of olive oil are certainly a nice addition.
- Use your favorite veggies and fruits as well as seasonal produce for this chicken salad recipe. The za'atar chicken and cheese go with almost everything.
- If you cannot find halloumi cheese, you can use feta cheese for this recipe.
