Za'atar Crusted Grilled Halloumi Cheese
Salty halloumi cheese is seasoned with Middle Eastern Za'atar seasoning and then grilled, for the perfect appetizer or addition to your charcuterie board.
Ingredients
- 8 Ounce halloumi cheese
- 1 Tablespoon za'atar seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Remove the cheese from the packaging and pat dry. Cut into ½-inch slices.
- Rub with a little olive oil and then liberally season with the Za'atar seasoning.
- Prepare your grill for medium-high heat and direct cooking. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Grill the cheese for a couple minutes per side until nicely browned and warmed through.
- Serve the grilling cheese warm.
