Za'atar

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme or 2 teaspoons dried
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons ground sumac
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin optional

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the thyme, sesame seeds, sumac, and sea salt. Alternatively, you can grind everything in a mortar and pestle for a finer spice.
  2. Sprinkle onto labneh, hummus, baba ganoush, avocado toast, or follow any of the serving suggestions listed above.
