Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled, deveined
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil divided
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound jumbo shrimp, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  3. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, and reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  5. Remove from heat and serve hot.
