Zucchini Turkey Roll
Zucchini and turkey, a perfect combination to create your favorite roll.
Ingredients
- 1 zucchini green
- 1 zucchini yellow
- 1 puff pastry roll
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 6 turkey slices
- salt
- black pepper
- 1 bunch basil fresh
- 1 tsp mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C/375F.
- Slice the zucchini into rounds with the help of a mandoline.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a sheet of parchment paper.
- Spread the cream cheese over half of the puff pastry.
- Add the basil.
- Add a layer of zucchini alternating between yellow and green zucchini slices.
- Spread some mustard.
- Place the turkey slices.
- Add the last layer of zucchini.
- Shape the roll using the parchment paper.
- Seal the roll well and let it rest in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- Brush a beaten egg over the roll using a kitchen brush.
- Add some flakes of salt.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooked, let the roll rest for about ten minutes.
