10 Minutes Garlic Butter Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 pound button mushrooms
  • 4 tablespoons butter reduce to 2 tablespoons if you are concerned about calories
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ onion finely diced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic minced
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons white wine optional
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon fresh Rosemary chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add olive oil to it.
  2. Saute diced onion and minced garlic in melted butter. Cook for a minute.
  3. Add cleaned mushroom, stir once and cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes. DO NOT STIR mushrooms now. Let it brown.
  4. Finish off with seasoning of salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour white wine and give it a quick stir.
  6. Remove sautéed mushrooms from heat, and add fresh thyme and rosemary for garnish.
  7. Serve immediately with your meal.
