3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
These 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies use just peanut butter, sugar, and an egg to create a chewy yet lightly crisp cookie with a straightforward peanut flavor. The dough is mixed simply, scooped into balls, and flattened with a fork to give the classic criss-cross pattern. Baking until lightly browned produces cookies that hold together well but retain softness inside. This minimal ingredient recipe is practical for a quick treat with familiar, comforting flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter creamy
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg large
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar and egg. Mix until well combined. Scoop into 1 Tbsp balls and drop onto cookie sheet.
- Using the tines of a fork, flatten cookie dough with criss-cross of fork tines.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned. Allow to cool completely.
Notes
- Avoid using natural peanut butter as it may result in oily dough and a compromised texture.
- Press cookies flat with a fork to ensure even baking and develop the traditional criss-cross pattern.
- Consider adding chocolate chips for a variation and extra sweetness.
