Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar and egg. Mix until well combined. Scoop into 1 Tbsp balls and drop onto cookie sheet.
  3. Using the tines of a fork, flatten cookie dough with criss-cross of fork tines.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned. Allow to cool completely. 

Notes

  • Avoid using natural peanut butter as it may result in oily dough and a compromised texture.
  • Press cookies flat with a fork to ensure even baking and develop the traditional criss-cross pattern.
