5 Minute Avocado Toast

Simply the best breakfast of all time. Made in 5 min from start to finish, or really 2 min 30 sec. Toast, slice, drizzle. Boom.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 lice bread* toasted
  • ½ ripe avocado halved, seeded, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Spread butter in an even layer on bread.
  2. Spread with avocado; drizzle with olive oil and top with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes, if using. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • *Whole wheat, whole grain, gluten-free, or white bread can be used.
