5-Minute Chili Cheese Dip

This chili cheese dip is EASY, ready in 5 minutes, and is made in the microwave! The perfect game day or easy party appetizer that everyone LOVES!!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese very soft (I used lite)
  • 15- ounce can chili I used hot
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese blend
  • green onions sliced into thin rounds for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray, add the cream cheese, and spread into a layer covering the base of the pie plate.
  2. Add the chili, evenly sprinkle with cheese, and microwave for about 4 minutes, or until cheese has melted and chili is bubbling a bit under the cheese. Because all microwaves and their intensities vary, check early and often. You may need to cook for less time or more depending on your microwave.
  3. Evenly sprinkle with green onions and serve immediately with chips or your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • Alternatively, bake in the oven at 400F for about 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
