Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 1 ¾ cup flour
- ⅓ cup cocoa
- ½ cup chocolate chunks
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x9" baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, water, and chocolate chunks, stirring until chocolate is melted. Remove pan from heat and allow mixture to cool (but not harden).
- Add flour, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, baking powder, and salt to a mixing bowl and stir to incorporate. Add eggs, oil and vanilla and mix until just combined.
- Pour melted chocolate into mixing bowl with the rest of your ingredients and mix until well incorporated.
- Pour brownie batter into baking pan and bake for 40 minutes at 350°F.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting.
