Affogato Recipe

This affogato recipe features creamy vanilla ice cream topped with a delicious shot of espresso. An Italian classic dessert that is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream or hazelnut
  • 2 shots espresso
  • ½ ounce Irish cream liquor such as Bailey's, or Frangelico, optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Make 4 shots of espresso using a Jura machine. 
  2. Place a scoop of ice cream in each bowl. Pour espresso over ice cream. Add Bailey's or Frangelico if using.
  3. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a boozy affogato, add a shot of Irish cream, Kahlua, or Frangelico.
