Ingredients

  • 1 bunch green asparagus (approximately 450 grams / 1lb)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt (or 2 cloves minced garlic)
  • ⅓ cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoon olive oil
  • juice from ¼ of a lemon (for serving)
  • 1-2 tablespoon Extra parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim about 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm) off the ends of the asparagus and carefully place them inside your air fryer basket.
  3. Toss to coat evenly then air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the asparagus is crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.
  4. Once cooked, transfer to a plate, squeeze lemon juice over the asparagus, and sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
