Air Fryer Baked Potatoes
How to make crispy on the outside, tender on the inside air fryer baked potatoes! No need to heat up your entire oven anymore!
Ingredients
- 4 medium potato
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- sea salt to taste, flaked
Instructions
- Wash potatoes thoroughly and scrub to ensure skin is clean. Pat dry with paper towel to remove excess moisture (the most moisture, the longer they will take to air fry).
- If your air fryer is the type that needs preheating, do it now, set to 400 °F.
- Place the potatoes in a medium-sized bowl and drizzle the oil on top. Toss the potatoes in the oil until covered completely.
- Rub each potato with sea salt to coat.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring that they aren't touching each other to allow for airflow and fry for 30 minutes at 400°F.
- Flip the potatoes over usng tongs and fry for an additional 10-15 minutes. Test for doneness by poking with a fork. When the potatoes are easily pierced they are done.
- Remove and serve.
Notes
- Canola oil is a neutral-flavored oil. You can use olive oil, but know that it does get a slightly bitter taste when roasted.
