Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

Make crispy on the outside soft in the middle Baked Potatoes in the half the time thanks to the Air Fryer. Coat in oil and sprinkle on salt for a restaurant style baked potato.

Ingredients

  • 4 Russet potatoes
  • Avocado oil spray
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes. Pat dry. Pierce the potatoes 2-3 times with the tines of a fork. Then spray both sides with avocado oil and sprinkle on salt.
  3. Air Fry for 30 minutes, flipping half way through. Once done let sit for 5 minutes. Split the middle of the cooked potatoes with the tines of a fork. Add toppings and enjoy.

Notes

  • Large Potatoes - Times may need to be adjusted if you are using jumbo baking potatoes. This recipe has been tested on smaller Idaho Russet potatoes.
  • Toppings - We love to put butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped chives, and crispy bacon.
  • Salt - You can omit the salt if you don't want the extra sodium. This is simply something that most restaurants do to add flavor to the skin.
