Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Breasts Recipe - Delicious tender juicy bbq chicken breasts right from the air fryer!

Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts 2-3 breasts
- 1 bottle Italian salad dressing
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ? teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Add chicken to a plastic bag or large bowl and cover in Italian dressing, let marinate for at least 20 minutes, up to overnight.
- Spray your air fryer basket lightly with olive oil cooking spray and set it aside.
- Remove chicken from marinade, and pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and red pepper flakes.
- Sprinkle the spices over the chicken, making sure to coat each piece evenly.
- Add the chicken breasts to the air fryer basket, making sure they’re all in a single layer.
- Cook at 375F for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 8 minutes.
- Once the chicken registers 165F on an instant read thermometer, brush each piece with BBQ sauce and cook them again at 375F for 2 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite sides. Store any leftover chicken in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
Notes
- I’m using boneless skinless chicken breasts but you could also use thighs!
- Garlic powder, paprika, salt, and red pepper flakes are going to help enhance the flavor of the BBQ sauce. You could substitute this spice mix for 1 ½ teaspoons of your favorite BBQ flavored seasoning blend.
- I’m using Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ sauce but feel free to use store bought or homemade.
