Air Fryer Broccoli

This Air Fryer Broccoli goes perfectly with any meal and is ready in less than 15 minutes. With only five ingredients and minimal prep, you can have a healthy and flavorful side dish in no time at all!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice optional
  • 3 cloves minced garlic 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 cups fresh broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
  2. Whisk the oil, parmesan, lemon juice (if using), minced garlic, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl. Toss in the broccoli and mix until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the broccoli evenly in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the broccoli is cooked and crispy. Sprinkle with a little more parmesan cheese if desired, and serve.

Notes

  • The Air Fryer I use and recommend is the Instant Vortex Air Fryer. I LOVE mine!
  • The lemon juice is optional. It gives a nice brightness to the broccoli, but you can leave it out if you don't have any on hand or for a simpler version of air fried broccoli.
  • Preheat your air fryer. I like to preheat my air fryer for a few minutes before adding the food. This ensures that the proper temperature has been reached and that your veggies will cook up perfectly. 
  • Shake the basket a few times. This will help to ensure even cooking and that all surfaces of your broccoli get equally crispy.
  • To make this vegan, omit the parmesan cheese.
  • How to store: Any leftover air fryer broccoli can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
