Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar optional garnish
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the batter is smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
- Spray an 8-inch pie pan with oil and add the batter.
- Cook at 350 F for 10 minutes or until the center is cooked. Use a toothpick in the center to check the center. If the toothpick comes out clean, it's done.
- Let the pan cool for 5 minutes. Then, using a flexible or offset spatula, remove the whole brownie.
- Dust the brownie with powdered sugar and cut it into squares or desired shapes. It will make 6 2-inch squares with smaller trimmings.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Always preheat your air fryer before adding the brownie batter.
- Air fryers vary, so keep an eye on the brownies. Use a toothpick to check if they're done. Insert it into the center of the brownies, and if it comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs, they're ready. Give them a few more minutes if the toothpick comes out with wet batter.
- You can line your pie pan with parchment paper before adding the batter to make cleanup easier.
- Feel free to add mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts. My family loves it when I throw in chopped walnuts for crunch. Keep the mix-ins to about ½ a cup.
