Air Fryer Cherry Tomato Salad
This Air Fryer Cherry Tomato Salad combines roasted cherry tomatoes with dried basil and olive oil, briefly air-fried to soften and develop flavor. The cooked tomatoes are mixed with fresh basil and bite-sized mozzarella balls for a fresh, slightly warmed salad with a balance of tang, herbal notes, and creamy texture from the cheese. The mix of whole and halved tomatoes adds texture variety.

Air Fryer Cherry Tomato Salad Recipe Ingredients:
- 500 g cherry tomato
- 1 Tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tsp basil dried
- black pepper
- salt
- 200 g mozzarella cheese optional, balls
- basil optional, fresh
Instructions
- Cut in half about 70% of your cherry tomatoes. Load all the cherry tomatoes into a mixing bowl along with the dried basil and extra virgin olive oil.
- Mix well with your hands and load into the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 5 minutes at 160c/320f.
- Once warmed up load your air fryer cherry tomatoes into a salad bowl.
- Add in thinly shredded fresh basil and mini mozzarella cheese balls.
- Mix and serve or store into containers for later.
Notes
- This salad serves 3-4 people and can be scaled for larger gatherings.
- Halving about 70% of the tomatoes helps soften flavors while keeping some texture contrast.
