Description
The recipe uses 500 grams of cherry tomatoes, mostly halved, tossed with dried basil and olive oil, then cooked briefly at 160°C in an air fryer. This step softens the tomatoes and concentrates their natural sweetness while infusing basil flavor. Once air-fried, the tomatoes are transferred to a bowl and combined with fresh basil and mozzarella balls, resulting in a salad with warm, juicy tomato pieces and cool, creamy cheese.

- 500 g cherry tomato
- 1 Tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tsp basil dried

Instructions
- Cut in half about 70% of your cherry tomatoes. Load all the cherry tomatoes into a mixing bowl along with the dried basil and extra virgin olive oil.
- Mix well with your hands and load into the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 5 minutes at 160c/320f.
- Once warmed up load your air fryer cherry tomatoes into a salad bowl.
- Add in thinly shredded fresh basil and mini mozzarella cheese balls.
- Mix and serve or store into containers for later.
Notes
- This salad serves 3-4 people and can be scaled for larger gatherings.
- Halving about 70% of the tomatoes helps soften flavors while keeping some texture contrast.
