Ingredients
- 600 g chestnuts
- extra virgin olive oil spray
Kitchen Gadgets
- Cosori Air Fryer
Instructions
- Place your chestnuts into a bowl of warm water and allow them to soak for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes remove from the bowl and pat dry with a tea towel.
- Using a veggie knife put a cross in the side of your chestnuts to help them breathe when they cook and air fry quicker. Then load the chestnuts cross side up into the air fryer basket.
- Spray the top of the chestnuts with extra virgin olive oil spray.
- Air fry chestnuts for 7 minutes at 190c/380f and then allow to cool before removing from the skin and serving.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Little and Large. I find that the chestnuts are never all the same size. When cooking chestnuts in the air fryer remove the small ones at around 5 minutes and the bigger ones at 7-8 minutes depending on how powerful your air fryer is.
