Air Fryer Chicken Legs

Crispy chicken legs made easy in the air fryer. Made with our signature spice blend, plus additional flavor variations to switch things up!

Ingredients

  • 10 chicken drumsticks
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat air fryer to 400°F (204°C) for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Drizzle 1/4 cup olive oil over the 10 chicken drumsticks and rub to coat.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 teaspoons paprika, 2 teaspoons granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Mix until evenly blended.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the drumsticks. Rub to coat thoroughly, including under the skin if desired.
  5. Place drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook at 400°F (204°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Remove from air fryer once the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) as measured with a meat thermometer.
  8. Let rest 1–2 minutes before serving. Serve hot.

  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 1/4 cup)2 teaspoons ground cumin2 teaspoons paprika1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon garlic powder1 teaspoon ground ginger1 teaspoon garam masala1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Note: There is no need to spritz chicken legs with oil if you are using a flavor variation with citrus juices.
