Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Air Fryer Chicken Wings offer a crispy texture using less oil than traditional frying. The recipe features two variations: a Parmesan-coated version with paprika and herbes de Provence for a flavorful crust, and a plain seasoned version focusing on salt and black pepper. Cooking in the air fryer at 350°F produces wings with a crisp exterior and juicy interior. Ensuring an internal temperature of 165°F guarantees safety, while garnishing with extra Parmesan and herbs enhances the Parmesan version's taste. This recipe suits cooks wanting fried-style wings with less grease and fuss.

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook wings in batches for even air circulation and cooking.
  • Use a light coating of cooking spray on the basket to prevent sticking without excess oil.
  • Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; wings must reach at least 75°C (165°F) before serving.
  • After cooking, place wings on a cooling rack to keep the underside from becoming soggy.
  • You can season and sauce the wings as desired after cooking to suit your taste.
