Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Air Fryer Chicken Wings are seasoned with a blend of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and sea salt, then tossed in avocado oil. Cooked in a preheated air fryer at 400°F, the wings crisp on the outside while staying juicy inside. The recipe uses separate cooking of wings and drummettes in a single layer to ensure even crispness. They can be served with dressings or sauces of choice such as ranch or buffalo sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ lbs chicken wings
- 2 ½ lbs chicken drummettes
- 3 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt sea salt
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients for the wings to a zip lock bag and seal it up. Shake it well until all of the chicken pieces are covered with oil and seasonings.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 2 minutes.
- Place the wings in the air fryer in a single layer such that they aren’t touching. Air fry for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
- After the 10 minutes are up, flip the wings and air fry for another 8 minutes or until the wings reach an internal temperature of at least 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Repeat the process for all of the wings.
- Serve with choice of ranch dressing, hot buffalo sauce, blue cheese, etc.
