Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Description
This Air Fryer Chicken Wings recipe combines chicken wings and drummettes coated in avocado oil and a simple mix of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and sea salt. After marinating in the bag to evenly coat, the wings are cooked in batches in an air fryer heated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, first on one side, then flipped to crisp fully. Cooking in a single layer prevents steaming and promotes crunch.
The wings develop a spiced, crispy skin with tender, cooked-through meat inside. The seasoning is balanced for a mildly smoky and aromatic flavor profile that pairs well with various sauces or dips.
These wings suit casual entertaining or weekday dinners. Serving suggestions include ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, or blue cheese, letting the cook customize the final flavor experience.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ lbs chicken wings
- 2 ½ lbs chicken drummettes
- 3 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt sea salt
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients for the wings to a zip lock bag and seal it up. Shake it well until all of the chicken pieces are covered with oil and seasonings.

- Place the wings in the air fryer in a single layer such that they aren’t touching. Air fry for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
