Air Fryer Chickpeas Recipe

Crispy and crunchy, and so customizable, these Air Fryer Chickpeas are done in an instant and can be combined with any seasoning blends!

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces canned chickpeas
  • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning*

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas in a colander. Spread them out on a paper towel lined plate and pat dry.
  2. Place the dried chickpeas in an air fryer basket and set to 380°F for 12-14 minutes, shaking half way.
  3. Remove from the air fryer and transfer them to a mixing bowl. Toss with the olive oil to fully coat.
  4. When fully coated, toss them with the seasoning of your choice.

Notes

  • Seasoning can be any blend of dried herbs and spices. Some of our favorites include Italian seasoning, Cajun seasoning, fajita seasoning, taco seasoning, zatar, blackened seasoning, Chinese five spice, montreal steak seasoning, Salad Supreme, garlic salt, seasoned salt and celery salt.
