Air Fryer Copycat McDonald’s Apple Pies
This recipe recreates McDonald's apple pies using pre-made pie crust and canned apple pie filling cooked in an air fryer. The pies develop a crisp, golden exterior while the inside remains soft and fruity. Brushing with egg wash and sprinkling cinnamon sugar enhance the crust's color and sweetness. Ingredients
- 1 pie crust pre-made
- 1 apple pie filling canned
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 360 degrees F.
- Roll out the pie crust and cut into 8 rectangles that are 3×6 inches.
- Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of apple pie filling onto 4 rectangles.
- Top with the remaining four rectangles and crimp the edges with a fork.
- Lightly brush each rectangle with the beaten egg,make several slits on top of the pies.
- Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, or undil golden and crispy.
