  • 8 chicken wings or 16 separated frozen chicken wings, uncut, whole, frozen

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to at 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
  2. Add the frozen chicken wings directly into the air fryer basket, making sure to spread them out evenly. You may have to cook them in 2 batches
  3. Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
  4. For crispier wings, give them a few more minutes but keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
  5. Remove from air fryer, season, or coat with the sauce of your choice before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to allow proper air circulation for crisping.
  • Cook in batches if your air fryer is small to ensure even cooking.
  • Turning wings at least once during cooking helps promote even browning.
  • No extra oil is required as wings have enough fat for crisping.
  • Cook a few minutes longer if a crisper texture is desired, watching to prevent burning.
  • Use gluten-free wings if a gluten-free dish is required.
