Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454g) frozen tater tots
  • 1 spritz Olive oil spray or calorie-controlled cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350F / 180C.
  2. Place the frozen tots in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, lightly spray with oil, and season with salt.
  3. Air fry for 15 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking time.
  4. Increase the air fryer temperature to 400F / 204C and air fry for 3-5 minutes, or until crisped up to your liking.
  5. Remove from air fryer, serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • The key to getting golden air fryer tater tots is lightly spraying with oil.
  • For super flavorful tots, don’t skimp on the salt.
  • For a smaller air fryer basket, you may need to cook tots in batches.
  • Shake the tater tots halfway through cooking to cook evenly.
  • Increase the heat at the end to get extra crispy tater tots.
