Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and washed
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F
  2. Pat green beans dry with a paper towel. In a large bowl, toss the green beans with flour.
  3. Then, set up a dredge station. In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg and olive oil. In a second shallow bowl, mix together panko breadcrumb, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Take one green bean and dip it into the egg mixture, shake off any excess. Then, roll it into the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat for all green beans and set them into the air fryer in a single layer, making sure there's some room between each one.
  5. Spray the green beans with oil. Air fry for 5-8 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve as is or with your favorite dipping sauce.
