Air Fryer Jicama Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 large jicama, peeled and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl add the jicama and fill with water until covered.
  2. Microwave for 10 minutes or until tender. (You can also boil them for 5 minutes on the stove.)
  3. Strain and dry the jicama.
  4. Add them to a bowl with the olive oil, garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, parmesan, and salt and pepper.
  5. Put them in the air fryer basket and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
  6. Shake the basket and cook another 5 minutes or until crispy.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or ketchup.
