Ingredients

  • 2 whole wheat pita bread or your choice
  • 1 tablespoon aquafaba or oil of choice if preferred
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Cut your pitas into 8 triangular wedges. Using a pizza cutter is a quick way to do this. Then combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Brush the spice mixture on the tops of your pita wedges. Then arrange them in your air frying basket. (It's okay if they overlap a bit.)
  3. Air fry at 350°F/176°C for 3-4 minutes for softer chips OR 5-7 minutes for crispier chips. Check on them often and remove them when the desired doneness is reached. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Different air frying models cook at different speeds. Check on your chips often, starting at the 3-minute mark.
  • No problem for the pita triangles to overlap a bit in your fryer basket. However, don't completely overlap them. Work in batches, if needed.
  • For softer chips, air fry for approx. 3-4 minutes.
  • For crispy chips, air fry for approx. 5-7 minutes.
  • NOTE: Subsequent batches will cook faster.
