Ingredients

  • 4 pitas
  • 3-4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Get out and measure your ingredients.
  2. On your work surface, cut pitas into small triangles. I use a pizza cutter but a sharp knife will work just fine..
  3. I slice the pita in half so there are 2 pieces. In half again so there are 4 and then cut all of the remaining pices in half too for a total of 8 triangles total. With 4 pitas you're going to end up with 32 triangles.
  4. Brush olive oil over top.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly on top.
  6. Air fry at 350ºF for 4-5 minutes.
  7. Or until chips start to turn golden brown.
  8. Remove from air fryer and serve.
  9. Enjoy.
  10. Every bite!

Notes

  • Spicy - add chili pepper flakes while cooking to imbue heat into the dish, or banana peppers
  • Thinner, Crispier Chips - Separate your pocket pita into two pieces and reduce cooking time to use these for a snack or a lighter dip like our chipotle lime dip, buttermilk ranch or creamy dill dip.
  • Thicker Chips - use a pocket pita and do not separate it or use flatbread for a stronger chip to use with heavier dips like our bagel dip, copycat Neiman Markus million dollar dip or slow roasted onion dip.
  • Seasoning Options - add Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, taco seasoning, everything bagel seasoning, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, Za'atar (thyme and toasted sesame seeds), to olive oil before brushing on your pitas
  • Heat - add red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper or ancho chili powder. You can also add a few dashes of hot sauce or sriracha to your olive or vegetable oil
  • Kid friendly - use melted butter instead of oil and add vanilla bean sugar or cinnamon sugar on to chips before cooking. Use on a dessert dip like our chocolate chip cookie dough dip or our cream cheese dip, perfect for fruit too!
