Air Fryer Roasted Carrots

These carrots are perfectly seasoned and then air-fried until crispy on the outside, tender on the inside!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots (about 5 medium-sized carrots)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • kosher salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash & peel carrots and cut into sticks, about ½" thick. If using packaged baby carrots leave them whole.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 370°F.
  3. Toss carrots with olive oil & cumin, sprinkle with salt.
  4. Place in the air fryer basket and cook 10-14 minutes or until carrots reach desired texture.

Notes

  • Garden carrots tend to cook faster than store-bought carrots so check the carrots early to ensure they don't overcook.
  • Different air fryers cook at different rates. Check your veggies early so they don't overcook.

  • Frozen carrots sliced in coins or frozen baby carrots can still be air fried, simply increase the cooking time (cooking spray coats frozen veggies better than butter or oil which freezes as it touches the veggies).
