Ingredients

  • 3 bulbs garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
  2. Cut the top ¼ of the garlic off so the cloves are exposed and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Wrap the garlic in foil and place in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook the garlic for 30-35 minutes or until it is tender and golden.
  5. Remove the bulbs and gently squeeze each clove to remove it from the skins.

Notes

  • You can use just one bulb of garlic if you'd prefer, I do more at once and then store extras in the freezer.
  • Once cooked open the foil and check the garlic, it should be very soft and lightly golden brown. Large bulbs may need a little bit of extra cooking time.
  • Roasted garlic can be used right from frozen, it softens quickly.
  • Keep leftover roasted garlic cloves in the bulb & cover them in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze roasted garlic by squeezing out the cloves from the skins and then freezing them in a zip-top bag for up to 4 months.
