Air Fryer Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon filets about 6 ounces each
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt more to taste
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper more to taste
  • 1 lemon sliced, plus extra for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Brush salmon with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, and lemon pepper. Sprinkle over salmon filets.
  4. Place lemon slices in the air fryer basket and place the salmon filets on top.
  5. Cook 6 to 9 minutes* or just until cooked through. Do not overcook.

Notes

  • Do not overcook Salmon can vary in thickness which will affect cook time. Thinner salmon filets may only need 6-7 minutes while thicker filets may need 9-11 minutes. Check your salmon early and allow for more time if needed.
  • Place the thermometer in the thickest part of the salmon and remove when the internal temp is 145° F.
  • If left in the basket the salmon will continue to cook; once it's done, remove from the basket immediately.
