Ingredients

  • 2 oz salmon filets
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic minced, large clove
  • ½ teaspoon paprika optional
  • ¼ teaspoon salt plus more to taste, sea salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2-3 lices of lemon for serving

  1. Rub oil, minced garlic, paprika (if using) salt and pepper on on the flesh of each salmon fillet.
  2. Preheat air fryer if required. Spray air fryer with non-aerosol cooking spray, if desired. Place salmon filets skin side down in air fryer and cook on 390°F for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through. Cook time will vary depending on the size of your salmon filets.
  3. Once cooked and salmon easily flakes off with a fork, remove salmon from the air fryer and let rest for about 5 minutes.
  4. Serve salmon with slice of lemon and sides of choice.

Notes

  • Allow salmon to rest briefly after cooking to redistribute juices for tender texture.
  • Store cooked salmon in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • Lemon slices add a fresh citrus flavor that complements the richness of the fish.
