Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 6 pork sausages
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • ½ teaspoon sweet paprika

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into wedges.
  2. Pat dry the wedges using kitchen paper, and add them to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Season them with salt, pepper, garlic granules and paprika, and add one tablespoon of oil.
  4. Shake the bowl well to coat the potatoes nicely.
  5. Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer drawer, and air fry for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit), shaking the air fryer drawer half the way through.
  6. Cut the sausages into bite-sized chunks, and add them to the potatoes, drizzling the remaining oil over them.
  7. Give the air fryer drawer a good shake, increase the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius (390 Fahrehnheit) and cook for a further 20-25 minutes until the potatoes are golden and the sausages are cooked through.

Notes

  • The potatoes do not need parboiling, they can go raw in the air fryer, and you will still get beautifully cooked potatoes that are crispy and golden on the outside, and fluffy on the inside.
  • I also made Air Fryer Loaded Potato Wedges using the same technique, and they worked beautifully too. Just make sure you use oil, so they can get that lovely golden crust you want.
  • I opted for a mild seasoning as I was cooking it for the kids too, but you can go for a spicy kick to if you wish - just swap the sweet paprika for hot paprika or cayenne pepper, and you get some good heat.
