Ingredients

For The Marinade:
  • 2 lb flank steak cut into strips across the grain
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste or 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • juice from 1 lime
For The Vegetables:
  • 1 large red onion sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning

Instructions

For the marinade:

  1. To a large zip top bag, add the flank steak, soy sauce, taco seasoning, garlic, olive oil,
  2. and lime juice. Let the flank steak marinade in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes or up to 24 hours.
For the vegetables:
  1. In a large bowl, add the sliced vegetables, olive oil and taco seasoning. Toss together until fully coated.
For the fajitas:
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390℉.
  2. Add the seasoned vegetable to the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes, shaking half way through.
  3. After 10 minutes, add the marinated flank steak on top of the vegetables in the air fryer and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Turning the steak pieces halfway through cooking.
  4. Transfer the steak and vegetables to a serving platter.
  5. Serve with tortilla shells and your favorite toppings. Enjoy! Optional toppings: Salsa, pico de gallo, guacamole, Spanish rice, black beans, lime wedges, sour cream, cilantro, hot sauce.

Notes

  • Notes:Store the steak fajitas and vegetables in the refrigerator in an airtight container or zip-top bag for up to 3 days.Reheat the fajitas in the air fryer at 400℉ for 3-4 minutes or until hot, or reheat in themicrowave.Skirt steak, strip steak, or hanger steak can be used in place of flank steak.
