Ingredients

  • 2 lices pound cake 1/2 inch thick slices
  • 24 strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 tablespoons Whipped Cream

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Wash the strawberries and cut the tops off.
  2. Preheat the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 2 minutes.
  3. While it preheats thread the berries onto 4 wooden skewers.
  4. Drizzle the honey over the top of the berries. A honey dipper makes it easy to drip the honey or use a spoon.
  5. Put the cake slices and berry skewers in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350 F for 2 minutes.
  6. Pull out the basket and flip the cake slices over. There is no need to turn the berries. Cook at 350 F for 3 more minutes. The cake slices will be slightly brown.
  7. Put each cake slice on a plate. Top them with the skewers of berries. Add a little bit of whipped cream on top and enjoy.

Notes

  • Add even more skewers of berries for each cake slice if you like!
  • You could substitute store bought angel food cake for the pound cake.
